Spring!

This spring we feel a little bit guilty about enjoying the warm weather because we need rain so badly, but it is so nice to get out of the house and enjoy nature!

A few weeks ago we went to Hidden Villa which is a farm and wilderness preserve. We got to explore the vegetable garden, pet a baby goat, and take a hike in the hills. The kids were most excited about the hike (probably because they can't read so the signs warning that mountain lions like to eat small children didn't bother them) and we got to see two deer grazing in a meadow. It was really cool.

Cute kids.

Oh deer!

We also finally made it over to the California Academy of Sciences which was every bit as excellent and I had hoped. Morgan & Zach call it the "grass-on-top museum" because it has a living roof . Theres also a huge aquarium and a rainforest inside a big glass dome!

And then, of course, Easter. The bunny was good to M & Z again this year bringing them bathing suits and lots of treats!

Morgan has spring break this week and then she only has 6 weeks until the end of school! We had a nice conference with her teacher last month and of course she said Morgan is wonderful and brilliant and well-behaved and more than ready for kindergarten. Morgan knows she is too. She thinks kindergarten should start right now!
